Goddess Saraswati is an Indian Hindu deity who is associated with education. On the fifth day of the Mugh, also known as Vasanta Panchami. The people who are affected by Rahu must worship the goddesss Saraswati everyday. Goddess Saraswati is the mother of the Vedas. She is the Daughter of Lord Shiva and Maa Durga.Some pepole say that she came out from the mouth of Lord Brahma. Saraswati Maa is very beautiful and Brahma considered her as the most beautiful creation of him. She is associted with the moon and lotus both of which are sings of eternal womanhood.
Some theory also says that she come out of Samudra Manthan. As she was very beautiful and full of knowledge she wass sent to heaven and stayed there as goddess. Some also say that goddess was Vishnu's wife. Vishnu decided to give her off to Brahma and since then ahe became the wife of Brahma.
No matter what story is said about her origin one thing is for sure that she is considered to be the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. You will find her holding lotus in one hand this signifies true knowledge. Goddess Saraswati also holds the Vedas in one hand and carries a veena.
The goddess Saraswati is always dressed in a white colore Shree. It is said the veena she plays the music of love and life. The goddess Saraswati is seen rising a big Swan. This swan signifies purity....
